UPDATE: Blaze TCD, has just announced an extraordinary opportunity for our intellectually/developmentaly disabled community ages 4 to 21. In this economic climate for this organization to step up like this is just incredible! Please take a look at the flyer to see this amazing announcement! BLAZE FLYER!! If you would like to give this flyer to family and friends or post at your place of work you may print it out,it's in PDF format. This would be a wonderful opportunity for siblings to have something to do together in the regular and special needs teams and events. Even if you don't have a special needs person who would benefit from this activity consider supporting this wonderful effort with a donation to Blaze TCD or becoming a Sponsor!! Please keep in mind that documentation will be required to take advantage of this and only the "Blazing Angels" are fully sponsored, regular fees apply for all others. There are limited spots so give the coaches a call to find out more. Blaze Tumble Cheer and Dance (T.C.D) is the first to hold an All-Star cheer team for special needs children in this area and one of two All Star Cheer Programs in Spotsylvania County. Blaze has a competitive size spring floor (42’ x 54’), an above and in ground trampoline tumble track, and several mats to help ensure a social, safe, fun and effective learning atmosphere for Cheer and Dance excitement.
The Special Needs team, “Blazing Angels“, will be available for ages 4 to 21. A non-profit “Blazing Booster” program has been put in place to help fundraise and offset the costs.
There are 7 scheduled competitions that will be one-day trips to visit different near-by cities including two local ones held in Fredericksburg. For more information visit their website:

Bowling: Life Conservation Support Group
Meets every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30 pm at the AMF Fredericksburg bowling lanes.
$2.00 covers the cost of shoes, ball, and bowling for one hour.

Golf Tournaments for 2010
All proceeds from these tournaments go directly to The Arcs Dental Program.
As many of you know there is no dental coverage in Virginia for adults with medicaid. This program has been instrumental in providing for the dental health of these uninsured adults who other wise would simply have no where to go for their dental care. Please come out and support this worthy effort by The Arc of Rappahannock to try and give everyone:
